To rent a car in Japan, you need the following three documents.
If any are missing, you will not be able to rent a car.

1. Passport

2. International Driving Permit (only the original paper version recognized under the Geneva Convention1949)

3. Driver's License

You・I　Rent-A-Car (Miyakojima Location) does not provide shuttle service to Shimoji Airport. 

Please take a public bus to Miyako Airport, and then contact the rental office (+81-98-079-9166), and a shuttle bus will come to pick you up.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi to the You・I　Rent-A-Car Miyakojima location (taxi fare is at your own expense)

• Insurance Details

This product includes basic liability insurance.

It covers third-party injury, third-party property damage, vehicle repair, personal injury, etc. in case of an accident. However, the loss of income compensation (NOC) is not included in the liability insurance.

You will need to pay for it separately.

The loss of income compensation is approximately ¥20,000 - ¥50,000.
For full coverage that includes NOC, please select the NOC (Wide) coverage option for ¥1,100 per day.
