Required Documents (Original Required)

To rent a car in Japan, you need the following three documents.
If any are missing, you will not be able to rent a car.

1. Passport

2. International Driving Permit (only the original paper version recognized under the Geneva Convention1949)

3. Driver's License

*Upon arrival at Naha Airport

After arriving at Naha Airport, exit the domestic terminal's arrival lobby on the first floor and cross the crosswalk

Please come to the "Rental Car Shuttle Bus Stop レンタカー送迎バス乗り場" at Stop 10-A

The stop is marked with a sign for "Yu-I Rent-a-Car ユウ・アイレンタカー"

Wait in front of the sign, and buses run every 15 minutes

When the bus arrives, please board in order (it takes about 15 minutes to the store, and approximately 30 minutes if there is traffic)

*When returning the vehicle

Guests moving to the airport after returning the rental car are recommended to return the car at least 3 hours before their flight departure

Returning the car later than that may significantly increase the chance of being late for check-in

The business hours of Yu-I Rent-a-Car are from 08:00 to 19:00 (shuttle service available from 08:30 to 18:45)

*International Street Store Information

The International Street Store does not provide pickup and shuttle service

Please visit the store directly for vehicle pickup and return, and use public transportation afterward

*Pets are not allowed (including in cages)

Yu-I Rent-a-Car does not allow pets, including dogs and cats, to accompany passengers

If a violation is detected, a penalty of 50,000 yen will be charged, so please be aware of this.
